[Aspell-user] spelling errors of Aspell

Hi -
I installed aspell a few days ago and I've noticed several instances of 
misspelled words, that aspell believes are spelled correctly.

A few examples of this: Aspell ( http://aspell.net/suggest/ ) tells me:
The word "tset" is the correct spelling. 
The word "meaneing" is the correct spelling. 
But, they don't seem like words to me and I can't find them in any dictionary.

Also, aspell doesn't seem to recognize contractions (eg - thinks "I've" is 
misspelled).

Is there another dictionary that can be installed to provide better spelling?

I'm using:
aspell-0.50.2
dictionary:
aspell-en-0.50-2
