I was getting Security Violation errors. This group indicated I needed to upgrade to 1.1.7. I did this, but still had the errors. Today I saw the patches listed below and decided to give them a try.

I just upgraded both my cygwin computers to 1.1.9, but it still does not work completely. Should it work, or do I have some other problem specific to my installation? A copy of the output is below. a

Since this was originally reported on Fink's version, I rolled all commits in CVS HEAD since 1.1.9 into Fink's and MacPorts' rdiff-backup and rdiff-backup-devel packages, respectively. Regards, Blair

Marc, I applied the patch in that e-mail, and the remove-older-than once again works. I then did a partial trial restore as a test to make sure the repository was still sane. Hopefully that patch, or

I'm not using rdiff-backup on a remote machine. The backups are on a second hard drive, attached to the same machine as the hard drive with the data to be backed up. Only one instance of rdiff-backup
